Copperhill Country Cabins Rafting and Tubing Info

Copperhill Country Cabins is located just over 6 miles from the eastern entrance to the Cherokee National Forest on Route 64, 9 Miles from the Ocoee Whitewater Center. We are the closest rental cabins to the Ocoee Whitewater Center, site of the 1996 US Olympic Rafting & Kayaking competitions. All of the professional rafting companies listed below provide transportation into the forest for you from their location when you book a rafting trip with them.
The Cherokee National Forest is approximately 18 miles across from the western side to the eastern side on Route 64. It's a lovely drive thru spectacular scenery ... but should you wish to avoid driving more than necessary when staying with us - try booking with a company that's located by the eastern entrance to the park. All of the companies listed on the eastern side are within a 10 minute drive of Copperhill Country Cabins.
(Note - TN law requires that children rafting the middle & upper Ocoee River be 12 years of age or older.
For Children under 12 we suggest tubing instead - Rolling Thunder River Company, Toccoa River Adventures and Blue Ridge Mountain Kayaking for the Ocoee/Toccoa River or Hiwassee Outfitters for the Hiwassee River)
